From what I've read, I've concluded that many of us want awareness, action, and most of all to be rid of bb's. So, I ask you.....when is a better time than now???...to request...even beg of politicians in your area to step up to bat. Now is a little more than one week prior to local elections.....now is the time you will be heard. NY'rs especially, with not one, but two potential presidential candidates....please bring this up now....and I mean now! Power is in the number of voters. Please note that this is NOT a thread to share your political agenda...while we all might have one. Point is, that there is a comonality......awareness and elimination and protection. For those of you who think you don't matter, trust me you are wrong. For those of you outside of NY, you can make a difference too. Nobugs has done an outstanding job in sharing newsworthy items. Please share and make your story known!! ASAP!!

Perhaps we should put up some links to people to contact. If people want to make a list, I will find somewhere to post it permanently.

To contact elected officials in any state go to www.congress.org/congressorg/home
In the top left hand corner "find elected officials" key in your zip code and a list will appear.

Cincinnati is having a bb conference this evening. If all goes good, get the minutes from the meeting and then send the document to all officials, Spitzer, Clinton, Bloomberg, borough presidents and put on a front page saying, "New York, where the heck are you?!"
