I have posted a bunch of times here with anxieties and photos of bugs/stains that I was afraid were bedbug related. It's been a scary 4 months since I started worrying about this, and every time someone answered my question and re-assured me what I was posting wasn't bb related.

I still wasn't able to shake the feeling or stop constantly inspecting our sheets, beds, my son and my husband for bites and it was making me crazy. I was freaking out at every dot on our bodies.

Finally we decided to splurge and get a K9 in (the dog was named Luke from Purity Pest Control here in Toronto), it seemed like the best course to confirm or deny whether they were here. The dog came today and cleared the place, no hits at all. Sure it could be a false negative, but given everything and my lack of other evidence and my already sleep deprived mommy state I'm going to trust this and move on and believe it to be true unless something definitively points otherwise. I do feel relieved and hope I can move on now (armed now with new knowledge of precautions and prevention techniques)

but before I move on from this ordeal I want to really thank everyone who took the time to write their thoughts, assessments and advice here. Especially EffiC, bedbugsco-uk and Killer Queen (hope I got all your names right). you took the time to re-assure me with each picture I posted and give advice, and while I still had to finally put this issue at rest by getting the K9 inspection, I appreciate all the accurate advice here.

so thank you all, and I wish everyone good luck

This was a nice post. I'm glad you got the all-clear and you feel some peace. It is incredibly kind of these professionals to lend their advice and experience to those of us who have no idea what we are doing.
