Taking vacation with bug at home

I had a vacation booked and now I found out I have bugs...
Beside the psychological feeling that I have to fight this, I wonder whether taking a vacation will not cause the bugs to spread around home some more looking for a source of food.
What do you think? -

I am going to be away for 3 weeks, and there are 2 attached apartments.
The rental company is aware of the situation, and will be able to treat the place while I'm gone. Still, I don't know if that's the right thing to do from the practical point of view (not even speaking about the psychological point of view).
