storage unit/washing winter wear

   I've kept our winter hats/scarves/boots, etc. in a storage unit this year. They were stored in a ziploc xl bag. I've just retrieved them from the storage unit and wondering if I should take the extra precaution of laundering all the items. If so, what do I do about woolens? And boots (kids) with lining, etc.? Thanks for any advice!

   You could just throw them in the dryer for 40 mins, yes?
