We were treated last saturday, and our PCO advised us not to spray Bedlam as it will counteract his chemicals.
We are waiting (anxiously) for the arrival of our encasement..once it arrives and we can wrap our nightmare of a mattress up....should i treat the mattress again first??
He told us he treated it...should I also spray it and/or steam it?
Ive heard steam is bad for the chemicals..

Last nite I turned the lights on in the bedroom and saw a bedbug (red-so I guess its been eating well) wandering across my sheets. DOes this mean they are getting desperate?? Why was it out when no one was on the bed? I wasnt bit last nite but my bf had 2 3-bites, one on each foot.

One more question -- how are you guys protecting the couch ?? We think it might be infected, havent seen any there though...our PCO sprayed it...but is there any way to 'encase' it other than wrapping it in plastic??

You can't really encase a sofa. If it contains bed bugs, the PCO will likely have to treat it aggressively.

One Bedbugger treated his sofa for 6 months with pesticides before getting rid of them for good (this was a really bad case, it seems). Most people don't seem to have this much trouble.

It would help if your PCO (or you) have gone over it as caregully as possible, removing/ killing all bed bugs and eggs with a contact killer. Steam is also good. (Either way, not now, but before PCO treats next, so you don't spray away the residual he used.)

If there's a cloth on the bottom of the sofa, that can often be removed and treatment applied inside.
