Obviously they are biting me on a nightly basis even though I rarely get even a small reaction from them. THANK GOD for that.
But I am slowly seeing more dead bugs (about 5 by now) and other evidence.
Today i went to the basement to look on the floor casually and right off the bat saw a dead bug in full view which i think was a bb.

Is my home going to become a house of horrors one day? Right now it's not so bad and it's just a bug. I found out we have bugs right at the point when I had had enough of being scared. I am fed up with being held hostage by one thing or another. I honestly don't have time for this. And if it means I junk some stuff and get out the vacuum to keep them at bay for now then so be it.

    blazing,

I'm confused. Are you getting someone experienced and knowledgeable to treat your bed bugs?

If so, the problem should get better and better (though if you go with sprays/steam/dusts, it may take multiple treatments repeated about every 2 weeks or so).

If not, it will get worse and worse and you really do not want to see this happen.

    It's my parent's house.
They don't believe we have them, or want to hear about it.
I have told them it was possible we had them since March.. now that I have found evidence, my dad
    says I am paranoid.

Therefore, nothing can be done until he sees the light, and I am guessing one summer night, he will see it very clearly.

I was just wondering how bad this situation can get, and how fast that happens.
I am isolating my important things now, and quarantining them for 2 years and junking some other stuff.

But I really don't see that I have much more energy to give to this problem. I am resigned to living with them, if that makes sense, for now. Because this problem demands an action and energy most people lack, which means these bugs will be everywhere soon.. which means others will spend their hard earned money to battle these bugs not just once, but repeatedly over time.
