    Hi.

I don't even know where to begin. Okay, let's start here. My journey with bedbugs began last November. It seems that the person living above me in the duplex I was renting had become infested with bedbugs. I, of course, was unaware until my fiance and I started to have itchy spots. We had no idea what it could be, so we just let it go. One night, while he was on the couch watching TV, he saw something crawling. He smashed it on a piece of paper and hopped on the internet to see just what kind of bug it was... he woke me out of a dead sleep to tell me "We have BEDBUGS!"

I called my landlord as soon as the sun came up. He already knew. No clue when he was gonna tell us, the tenants with the new baby (my son is now 14 months old. He was 6 months old at the time). He figured if he treated the tenant upstairs he wold be fine. Apparently, he had hired a PCO who had no CLUE. Anywhoo... we were treated twice. And then we moved February of this year.

We hadn't seen a bedbug in the new place at all. Until about two months ago. GREAT! We brought them with us! It appears that my son isn't getting bitten, and my fiance is not very allergic to the bites. Me? I'm HIGHLY allergic and I'm being eaten alive. I've got bumps, bruises, scabs, welts, peeling skin. You name it, I've got it going on all over my body. My left leg looks like I have some kind of flesh-eating disease. It's AWFUL.

The infestation got out of control pretty quickly. No idea how it happened, but it did. We've had to get rid of all of our living room furniture. And it appears that the bugs have made their way to the master bedroom, because I'm getting bitten while I'm in bed now. I've been awake since midnight, researching remedies for this problem that are cost effective for me.

We're on a very limited budget. My fiance got laid off, I'm on disability. We live in a home where the landlord does the bare minimum. I don't have the money for a PCO. I've seen DIY websites and pesticides I can buy. I simply cannot afford them. It's like I have to decide either I'm going to buy Cyonara 9.7 or I'm going to buy diapers for my son. I can't continue to live like this. I've tried everything that I can afford. HotShot Bedbug and Flea spray, cleaning everything that has a hard surface with bleach and hot water (including walls and floors), spraying alcohol in cracks and crevices... NOTHING is helping and I have no clue what to do now. I'm at my wits end and I'm feeling so anxious and out of control about it I just wanna cry all day everyday. I just don't know what I'm going to do. I'm so lost....

    I'm so sorry!!!

Seems like you did bring them with you, sadly. They multiply and within just a few months you can have a pretty hefty problem on your hands.

Have you been able to locate any of the nests, eggs, or any fecal matter? You should look around to find out where they are living mostly. That's a start.
Also, check your state to see if your landlord is obligated to pay for your treatments. If not, and he's not willing to budge on the issue check with some companies that do financing. That's what i did. Terminix let me finance my treatments.

i know how lost you feel. i really do. I 've been so sad and so out of it. There's a light at the end of the tunnel if you work hard and get really educated and get some professional help with the buggers..
