    Hello everyone,

I'm in the UK. About a month ago, I vacated a furnished apartment due to bed bugs. The apartment was sprayed twice, with two weeks between the sprays, I threw out a lot of old stuff, I put all my clothes through the dryer and I left behind all the seated furniture (most of it wasn't mine). Everything I took with me was checked quite thoroughly for signs of bed bugs but I could not find any.

I'm currently living with a relative, and I'm extremely paranoid that they've come with me. I'm not covered with bites (although I think I am a non-reactor for the most part) and I've been constantly checking the bedding, mattress and (metal) bed frame with a magnifying glass and a torch, but I have not found any live bugs, blood smears or faeces.

However, I noticed that I keep waking up to find what look like new skins on the bed under my duvet. After trying to examine them myself, I have now caught one with tape and taken some photos.

(Apologies for the quality; I took several and these were the best photos)

Is this a cast skin from a bedbug nymph?

    Hi,

It does not look like a cast skin to me although the image is not as clear as I would want to be 100% certain. If possible place it on a flat bed scanner and repost. Alternatively message me and I will give you a UK post address to send it for confirmation.

Thank you very much for your response. I will see if I can get this to a flat bed scanner.

I may add some more photos if I see any new ones.
