I had a PCO which seems to know his stuff come in a treat my apartment about 2 weeks ago for what seems to be the beginnings of an BB infestation. The problem started about 1 and a half months ago. It could be that the bugs were already in my apartment when I moved 2 months ago or I could have brought them in coming back from my vacation. I was unable to find any sings of BB's besides the bites on my body. Suspecting BB's I was able to find 1-3 nymphs when I placed some sticky mice traps under the legs of my bed. I've showed them to the LL and he arranged from the PCO to come in. The treated with Onslaught and some regulator (not Gentrol something that strats with "en..."), Perma-Dust(Boric Acid) and some D-Force on my bed frame. 2 bedrooms were treated with good detail and the rest of the apartment not that well( some spraying around the baseboards). I am moving in about 2 weeks. I've started desinfecting my stuff with PackTite and will throw out some furniture. The landlord is not picking up the phone anymore and since its been 2 weeks since the last treatment I'm considering self-treating before I move to kill as many of them as possible. I have only been bitten once or twice over the 2 weeks after treatment compared to almost every day before. I'm afraid the Onslaught might have repelled the BB's, I'm seeing other insects being killed but no BB's or they are just small for me to see. I've bought the WhiteWing steamer(which I will not use on the Onslaught sprayed areas) to steam the furniture and some of my stuff. I've also bought some D-Force, Bedlam, PyGanic dust, and Phantom bottle and spray. I need some advice. Should I self treat with Phantom(carefully following the label) on top of Onslaught. How long does Onslaught last, I know its microencapsulated but is it still as effective after 2 weeks? Please help! Thank you.

Sorry for the lenghty and bit chaotic explanation. Wanted to give as much details as possible to explain my patricular situation.

If you're moving in two weeks, why not concentrate on sterilizing as much of your stuff as possible and leave the apartment to the PCO and LL?

I am concetrating on sterilizing as much of my stuff as I can but I'm afraid of carrying something over to the other apartment which is why I want to kill as much of them as possible in my current apartment. BTW I'm moving around the 15th which is about 3 weeks, bugs will still have time to get into some of the stuff I need to use. If they are exposed to Phantom I have a greater chance of not carrying them over to the new apartment.

    what petition?

    -----

Is there any PCO or someone on this forum that has experience with Onslaught or knows how long it lasts and if it is effective against BB's? I mean, my situation has gotten better but I don't know if Onslaught could have repelled the BB's. I see other pests on the floor dead but no BB's.

    Please help.

A spammer hit the blog on the weekend with the same post about a petition -- 25 times. It's been deleted. It is not as easy to edit out every reference to the spam, however.
