I had just noticed that radio anchor George Weber had blogged on his personal website on Friday about the Bed Bug Advisory Board bill. He had himself had bed bugs twice in his Brooklyn apartment.
ABC reports that Weber was found dead today, victim of an apparent homicide.
This is a sad story. My condolances go out to his family and friends.

I had met George over the years in regard to pest stories and at an event he covered,and obviously heard him more often. He struck me as one of the remaining journalists as opposed to TV talking heads. And if you can be liked by both Ron and Curtis ya gotta be
alright. Unfortunate and tragic loss.
