Red spot on comforter
(3 posts)-
Since my hunt has began (nothing turned up so far). I have twice found the smallest red dots on my comforter. Maybe about the size of a pin head. They are bright red. I looked at them under a loupe, they are not bugs, but I can squish them. I picked the first one up with a pin and squished it on a piece of paper, a small red smear maybe 3mm long. Has anyone seen anything like this? Its almost like a "ball of red", almost 1 mm in diameter.

If you can get access to a microscope, blood cells can be seen at 200X magnification. It is a way to try and get closer to an answer.
Clover mites are tiny, red, and will smear if crushed.

Does this sound like a "common sign". Lets say it is blood, I know anything is possible with bbs, but just want to see if anyone who knows they had bbs found anything similar. Do you think if I find another one I can drop it in peroxide and see if it foams?
