Really Concerned - Possible Bedbug [a: grain beetle]

    We had a small bedbug infestation several months ago. We had our apartment treated twice and washed/dried every article of clothing.

    We recently moved into a new apartment and found 4-5 insects in the kitchen cabinets. We hoped these were merely grain beetles but were incredibly alarmed that we also found one insect that looked exactly the same under one of our beds.

    Please see the below link for images. Is there any chance they are bedbugs or do these distinctly look like grain beetles or something else?

    Not a bed bug. It's a beetle, but the pictures are somewhat out of focus. Could be a grain beetle of some sort. Many species can fly and of course crawl, so they can get into many different rooms.

    Professional entomologist/arachnologist. I consult on all matters dealing with insects and arachnids, including those of natural history and biology to pest management and forensic entomology investigations.
