    Hi,

I am writing to find out what would be the best solution. Had treatment for bed bugs on Friday in my pantry. The exterminator treated them with steam and with suspend, starifab and Bedlam. Since then, I killed about 3 very small ones and one adult in the pantry, and unfortunately, my roomates on the second floor found one this morning in their room.

I need to quickly seal off the pantry, and the bathroom above the pantry to prevent spreading (my roomate's room is next to theirs.)

    My questions are:
    - are these the right chemicals to be using?
    - are there better ones? that i can use myself, or ask an exterminator to use specifically?
    - what PCO's do people recommend?
    - how much should PCO's cost? the quote i have gotten is $350 a room - but i own a 3 story house, and rent out rooms, so am very afraid of the cost going forward.

    Thank you,
    Determined

    D

The materials used are all good for bbs just be careful not to steam following application. If you started with one company it's usually best to let them finish.

Thank you.. Is that something that everyone knows as a given - not to steam after chemicals? (i hope that didn't happen, but he did steam a small piece of furniture at the end in the room...would that be a problem?)

I found one other PCO that would do 2 floors in my house for $700. They use Sidekick. Is that a good chemical?

Do you know of PCO's that charge a fee, and then will come back as much as you need them?

    Thank you

Actually the point is not to steam over where you have applied insecticides. In terms
of price it differs from company to company from area to area. It can even vary seasonally.
