questions before PCO consulation

   we came home from vacation saturday and by sunday night me and the dog were covered in bites. flipped the mattress over and found a bunch of bed bugs, casings and black spots. did everything we werent supposed to -- trashed mattress, sprayed, moved to guest room etc. then called pco, who is coming thursday.

   we live in a 3 bedroom row home in washington dc, attached on both sides. i have no idea what to expect as far as cost and scope of treatment. any idea what i am looking forward to?

   also, any advice regarding the whole house heat treatment vs the chemical route by a pest control specialist?
