Question on BB bites
(1 post)-
I've read in several places that bed bugs commonly bite in a line, or a lot all over the place.
But last night my girlfriend had just three bites, one on both hips and another on her lower back (she's allergic, I'm not).
Some context: after learning of a rather bad BB infestation right after Labor Day, we've had the house treated (sprayed) twice for BB's (the most recent was last Tuesday) by a PCO, covered the mattress in BB&B's AllergyLuxe Mattress protector and pillow cases that are a cotton and polyester mix, isolated the mattress, covered the frame's wheels in vaseline, and covered the plywood and slats that form our makeshift boxspring (can't really afford one) in plastic painter's tarp and taped off the ends. We also have DE all over the crevices of the room.
So far there is no evidence of the bugs like there was before our first treatment or even after that. But does our first night back in our rowhouse after a weekend away result in more bed bugs, or could it be another pest?
