Post Treatment Question

Hello
I had my first treatment today and when it was safe for me to come back to the house I found more bugs than ever! Before treatment I was only able to actually find one bug and knew i had them by the bites, but just now I found eleven on my mattress and box spring. They were clearly alive but weren't moving around very much. Even in direct flashlight light they would stand around and wiggle but not attempt to run away. I understand that this could be a good sign becasue the treatment might be drawing them out of their hiding spots to die but I was hoping to find some reassurance. Any knowledge from experience would be awesome. -
What kind of treatment did you have? Thermal? Fogging? Just chemical?

That sounds fishy to me. In my experience and my opinion, any PCO worth their salt should be vacuuming or otherwise removing the vast majority of the bugs during treatment. I mean really, if they're not decreasing the bed bug population, just what are you paying them for?
For my part, I had a pretty heavy infestation and after my first treatment I found 5 live bugs and 2 dead ones over the course of the following week (with extreme inspection with a flashlight & magnifying glass twice a day) and haven't found one since (going on 3 weeks now..... *knock on wood*)
At the very least you should call your PCO and explain what you're finding and see what they say.
