Hi all,
Like many others I've been a little paranoid in the past about having bed bugs despite no real evidence of them. This stain appeared on my sheet a few days ago. It didn't come out in the wash. I'm worried it may be a fecal/blood stain from bed bugs. I also noticed similar marks on the sleeves of a couple of shirts that I had left on a chair in a different room. I am hoping (maybe against hope) that this is just something I spilled and didn't notice. Any opinions?

A few years ago I had blackish streaks on some sheets and clothes. Sometimes they were small dots. Turns out it was a problem with my washing machine. Examine your clothes before and after you wash them. That may be the problem.

Hi,
This mark is oxidised human blood which could be the result of a spot or a scratch but not likely to be bedbug related.
