I woke up with bites and found this casing. Is this a bedbug?

We are currently washing bedding and vacuuming entire bed area!!

I don’t see anything bed bug looking in that picture BUT - that’s an awful picture to ID anything in. If it’s under tape that’s very difficult to get clear detail. If it’s stuck to tape - try using vegetable oil to remove it and just take an over head picture of it on white lined paper.

The focus in on the top edge of the tape. You need to take a much better picture before any ID can be made.

Also, I only have some bites and this to show. There are ZERO dark spots on our bed or bedding.

We have been cleaning bedding, drying things in high and bagging stuff all day.

I’m not sure if we even have bed bugs.

    Bite marks??

Actually not really in focus, especially zoomed in. Not bed bug related. Bite marks don't have to be bites. Difficult to say what might be causing the skin issue. Monitors such as glue boards, climb-up style or just folded cloth or folded paper hides can be left out to see if you capture anything. Do you know if there is a mouse or rat issue?

    Not, no rodent issues.

I’m considering that it may a heat rash as I was working in my garage The day before and we live in a hot climate.

I didn’t find any spots at all, so that is comforting.

Just trying to rule out items. So far pictures aren't of anything that would really be biting you.
