About 6 weeks ago I got a series of bits in a line. I got a pest control company to come in and they couldn’t find anything in my bedroom but set down some traps. I kept an eye on them for weeks but never saw anything and I never had another bite.

Until this morning- I woke up with a line of three bites on my side and out of curiosity I checked the traps and there is a bug there. I don’t know how long it’s been there (I’ve not checked them for about 3/4 weeks). It doesn’t look like a bed bug to me but I could be wrong.

Apologies but this is as clear as I can get...

Not much to work with but the antennae are not consistent with those of a bed bug, so it's not a bed bug.

    Thank you for your response.

I’ve managed to get a slightly closer photo in the hope that it might help ID what it is or if in fact is a BB...

Possibly a moisture-related beetle or stored product-, mold -related beetle species that would be in various beetle families.
