I have been getting bitten for a couple of months, but have had an exterminator here twice who sees no sign of bed bugs. I would like to call in an expert on bed bugs since I am now not sure the guy I called is really all that knowledgeable. I have seen no bed bugs or any of the signs that I have read about on your site. And if I weren't getting bitten by something, the story would end here. New bites yesterday on the back of my upper thigh- two together and one further down. They look like welts that could also look like mosquito bites. I remember feeling like something was biting me yesterday as I drove to an appointment and when I arrived, I checked the back of my thigh and found the one bite. Today I discovered the other two - not sure if they emerged as a latent response or new bites. Perhaps, they are in my car? Or something else that is biting me. At any rate, I want to call someone who is reputable in regard to bed bug detection. Can anyone please help me find someone in the Huntington, Long Island, New York area. I am an hour east of NYC.
Thanks so much for any good leads.
P.S.Oh, and wondering also if I should steam clean my car with a rented industrial steam cleaner or one that I buy or have a service come in and do it?
