Please help, I've spent all day trying to identify this bug I found on my 8 month old baby today. She had it in her hair when she woke this morning. I then found another one exactly the same but dead under my pillow. I've searched our bed and can't find any other signs of bed bugs and there was nothing in her bed or mattress.

We got back from a family holiday 2 weeks ago so I'm worried we have brought bed bugs home with us. None of my family in
cluding my toddler or baby have had any bites.

I guess it's an hematophagous fly (louse fly) of family Hippoboscidae.
