    Hi there,

About 3 months ago, I was getting mosquito like bites on my stomach, neck and shoulder areas - it was summer time and we live in a first floor apt with a garden (mosquitoes fly in from time to time) but it was getting worse.. and my husband was also getting bites on his ankle area... we suspected that something was living in the sofa. When we lifted the sofa, we saw little black streaks similar to the photos on this forum (bb poo? although I didn't see actual bugs) --we got scared and threw away the sofa as a precautionary measure...wrapped it in tarp, duck taped it and threw it away.

I scrubbed our apt, vacuumed almost everyday, laundered our clothes and dried each load in high temp for 2 hours at a time, decluttered our apt.... ... But then 2 weeks ago, my husband was taking in the air condition unit located next to the sofa --- and out crawled a bug! He squished it but I saved it and we were wondering if someone can help us ID it:

The color is similar to a bed bug (caramel colored) but this bug has long antennas (so maybe it was a baby roach?)

I just got bit by something again yesterday (on my neck and another on my back) --- praying that they are not bed bugs.. please help! Any feedback would be greatly appreciated-
