I live in a bachelor apartment in Toronto Canada.

In last june I traveled and stayed at hostels and must have picked up bed bugs. After a few days I came home, I started having bug bites all over my body like typical linear line bug bites on my leg, scattered bites on my arm for a few days.

I got my first treatment 2 weeks after initial bite. I believe my landlord hired pco that uses dragnet and some mist. I had to clean my apartment and prepare for the treatment.
3 days after the first treatment I had to travel so I was gone for 5 weeks. During the 5 weeks I was traveling I was bite free itch free.

I came back in August, I was told that right before I came back, they treated my apartment with dragnet which was my second treatment. After I came back I haven't really had any typical reaction. I got one skin thing looked like a bite that lasted. My body was itch like my face, my arm places that are generally exposed during sleep, but no typical bite marks or swelling.
Three weeks later I got one more treatment which was my third treatment(in September)

Since then, I would randomly wake up with a bite(sometimes they show up during daytime) they would itch for about half an hour and they would be completely gone in an hour.
I would get bites on my leg where it gets exposed during sleep but also in places that are covered (I wear pants and long sleeves tshirt)- like my chest, back and shoulder. This happens approximately one bite in 2-3 days. Now I am itch everywhere especially my hand, feet neck and arm.

Question 1. My dermatologist says that insect bites last much longer and severe, so he doesn't think that it's insect bites. A few days ago I thought I got a bite that lasted a few days which is unusual, but he thinks it's folliculitis. What do you think? I keep reading about bites that last very short time.

PROBLEM is that I haven't seen a single bed bug since the bites started. My mattress is covered with bed bug proof cover(fabric one). I don't even use sheets anymore. I have ikea malm bed which has two wooden slates that touch the ground. i have taped the two slates with carpet tape for months even changed it once because some spots got weaker after treatment. I put a few glue traps around them and one under bed. STILL HAVEN'T CAUGHT A SINGLE ONE IN A FEW MONTHS. I checked my bed frame as well and my bed is isolated. Also caulked cracks on my frame. My landlord is refusing to do more treatments because I still haven't witness one yet. I have black bed so it's hard to see a fecal spot. I don't think I have seen blood smear on my bed bug proof cover.

QUESTION2. What do you think? do you think I don't have bed bugs? Is it normal not to see them? Any other way to catch them?

I have been washing my douvet and my clothing regularly at least in a dryer.

I really need your help. Your answer will be greatly appreciated!
