Pics of blood spots
(3 posts)-
Hey There. I'm hoping David. Effici, KQ or another professional could take a look see at this.
I washed my twins bedding this morning. After nap time this afternoon. This is what I found on my daughters fitted sheet that wasn't there earlier. They were playing on the deck earlier today, but I could find nothing, no nicks etc...that would have caused this. Please let me know if this is a sign that needs attention. First two shots are of the same spot. There are two spots. BOth are on the fitted sheet. One is below the pillow area and the other is about a foot above the foot of the bed. Thanks.

Hi,
It's not the right colour to be faecal in nature.
The colour looks more like blood straight from the source mixed with lymph (the clear whiteish fluid that often seeps from wounds).
At this stage I would note it but not go into full decon mode over this, chances are that its a small cut or scratch given the small amount this could be smaller than the size of a spot.
Hope that helps.

Thank you David. I didn't think it was fecal either. But I just couldn't find any little nicks on her, and I know those spots weren't there when I put her down for a nap. Makes me pretty nervous at times cuz it's about the 3rd time in a little over a month that I have found something like this. The kids always have bite like or rash like marks on them here and there. I figure it's all the mosquitoes, and small midges etc this time of year where we live. Plus we've been spending more time outside these days as well.
I will note it, though I hate to do so. This didn't stop my weekend with family and friends thank goodness.
I would hate to expose people to something...... if I knew there was something to worry about. (like if that makes sense!) Thanks again David. Hope you had some rest this weekend.
