    Is this a bedbug? It is dead, and a bit dried out but the best photo I have. If not, any idea what it is?

    I am not an expert but that is not a bed bug.

    Not sure what it is but an expert may come along who will know.

    Hi,

    A picture of the underside would help confirm but I really don't think this is a bedbug.

    Great clear shot though and the resolution really helps.

    Thank you for your help. After posting the picture someone suggested it may be a Brown Dog Tic. Does anyone here have an opinion?

    I can't ID it but that seems possible. A local university may have a cooperative extension office where an enomologist may be able to ID it for you in person.

    You usually see the legs on the dog tick even when engourged .... I'm not so sure that's what you have there. I'm not even sure it's insect related.

    I'm not an expert, but it almost looks like a sunflower seed to me.
