I just got back from a trip where I visited a friend who recently dealt with a bedbug issue in her new apartment. The infestation was never that big, and she sprayed 5 days before I got to her apartment.

Anyway, we kept our clothes in trash-bags and kept our luggage in the bathtub, and when I got home I cleaned all of my things and dried them for over hour.

Well, last night I found a bug of some kind in my bathtub right after I washed my hair! It had green/yellow legs and long straight antennae... so I wasn't sure if it was a bedbug. The exoskeleton looked similar but the color wasn't brown or deep red. All my stuff has been cleaned (even my duffel bag!)... not to mention they were in the trunk of my car in the Texas summer heat for seven hours.

Even so, now I'm really paranoid about having bedbugs! Could I possibly have them in my car? Or.... my hair??

Hah, I already got rid of it. I squished it to see if it was full of blood (because that's a sign, right?) It was empty.... and looked grayish too.

Perhaps it was the left over of a molted bug?

I just want to make sure I took all the precautions necessary.
