Paranoia???? I hope......

The night before last my son comes and shows me that he has three "bumps" in a line (spaced out by about an inch each). One appears to have a small hole in the center. He says they do not itch. Naturally I am freaked. (now these don't look like the bites he had when we had bedbugs (like 5 mnths ago - in a place where we no longer live), but those bites were pretty well focused on his ankles, these were on his belly).
Yesterday the back of my knee starts itching like crazy (I had just returned home after being gone all day, this was in the evening). When I remove my slacks & tights (it's a rough winter here in Chicago - phew!) I find a small bump on the back of my knee. Eerily similar to my sons.
What's weird is that 1- I check our beds like crazy - constantly - 'cuz I'm nuts now & 2 - both our bumps appeared in ares that always covered in clothes and at times when we were not in /around /near our beds and not in the morning.
They don't really fit the MO of our old bites, but it seems like something is going on.... Probably dermatitis from cold air? too many hot showers? too many layers of clothes? right???
