Packtite ques - could not find answer in FAQ or forums

First of all, I just want to thank all the generous people here for hearing me out and answering my questions. Thank you very much.
My questions this time are:
Just got my packtite today, the instructions say not to let it get above 150. What happens if it does, but it hasn't been an hour? I am packtiting my vaccum, and it's already at 130 after 10 mins. I guess I should have put in more stuff. Do I unplug it for a while but not let it get below 120 and then plug back in?Also - I saw conflicting info - it's ok to put in CDs and DVDs, right? VHS?

So it sounds like it is functioning just fine but that you'd want to watch to make sure it does not go over 150.
