Packtite have holes?
(3 posts)-
we've been using our packtite for about a month now
just noticed when i was loading it that i could see daylight pinprick holes at the seams
pretty much all of the seams, not just one spotthis is not anything we have damaged - i am sure it came this way!
has anyone else noticed this about their packtite, or is mine defective?
are the bb's able to crawl through these holes (my guess is yes)thanks for any thoughts!

There are sometimes holes in the inner liner of the bag itself, if you notice where those holes are an trace them to the outside of the bag you will see that the outer machined canvas is complete and does not have a hole in it. If you do have a hole that can be traced through to the other side and is noticeable on the outer shell, then it was damaged on its way to you.
From our tests with bed bugs in these units, I don't think a bed bug would have time to find any hole in the bag, even if one went straight through. Once infested items are placed inside and the unit is turned on, bed bugs head for cooler places, namely the center of whatever it is that you are heating up. The bag area under the shelf is one of the first places to get to bed bug killing temps and it gets there pretty quick. In our early prototypes, units that didn't get hot enough, we always found alive bed bugs hanging out in the center mass of packed luggages, etc. as this was the last safe place for them.
However, if you do have a bag that is pierced all the way through and is not just the small pinprick holes in the inner liner, send me a pm and I will contact you about getting you a new bag.
