I've been finding these perfectly oval shaped hard shells - looks like a seed from a multi-grain bread. They are in one piece and when I've opened them it's empty. What could this be? I'm an old timer when it comes to bb"s but I haven't been bit in a while. Anyone have these? or seen them?

I don't know what they are related to but think I found some old ones in my apartment too.
Do they kinda look like sesame seeds?

Sorry to add - do you have a pet? Could be possible tapeworm segments. But the ones I found were definitely seed/pod like and hard. Don't know if tapeworms are like that.

someone was finding these in her bed each morning in increasing numbers and discovered that it was the filling to some type of sleeping pillow that was coming out due to a tear in the covering.
