We found a bedbug in our bed after me getting bitten for a few weeks. Because we live in an attached house, and because we weren't sure the extent of infestation, we used canine detection to see how bad it was. Turns out they only rooms that the dog signaled on was the master bedroom and our toddler's bedroom. The bugs were visually verified in the master but we couldn't find them in our son's room. His crib mattress has holes built into it so we suspect something is inside.

How to proceed? Its $3500 to do the whole house with thermal and a 30 day guarantee.. Thermal treatment of the two affected rooms would be $1000, no guarantee. Chemical treatment (Temprid and silica) is $150/hour over at least 3 treatments= $450 minimum, no guarantee. Another PCO will do 2 chemical treatments for about $750 with a 60 day warranty.

What to do? We're wary of the chemicals because of our toddler. The whole house thermal is a LOT of $. The 2 room thermal may not work. Advice, please!!
