    Hello All,

New to the board, about it's been helpful the last few months. I have a what would be considered a "light" infection and am dealing with several things I need advice on. But one thing at a time.

When I realized I had BB, I went out and bought a encasement. I'm poor and it's cheap. I taped the zipper after reading several posts. A few paychecks later, I've bought a Protect-A-Bed.

Now my question: should take the current cheapie off and put the Protect-A-Bed on or double up, just putting it over the old one? My fear with the former is live but dormant bugs escaping. My fear with doubling up is rips caused by friction.

If you taped the zip of the first one, I see no problems in just putting the second one on top; that's what I did, because I just couldn't imagine taking the box spring out of the encasement and risking to have bugs escape. .

Put the second one on top. The friction shouldn't be enough to tear even a cheap cover. Just be careful putting it on.
