There is an article in today's (7/1/07) New York Post about another lawsuit against a hotel here in NYC that has bedbugs. I'm sorry, I don't know how to link articles so other people can see it. But here is the link itself: http://www.nypost.com/seven/07012007/news/regionalnews/hotel_let_bedbugs_bite__suit_regionalnews_kathianne_boniello.htm

Need I mention that it also states in the article that HPD is experiencing higher number of complaints and violations in relation to this epidemic.

What I don't understand is if someone complains so badly about being exposed to bbs on a short hotel stay, what about people dealing with this and living with this every day?

Yes! How do we deal with this every day when we can't evem go home and feel safe because our home is infected? I felt safer in a hotel because I knew I could leave the room if the bedbugs were bad, and I already had them at home so I didn't have to worry about getting them. When I stayed at a hotel room that wasn't infested (me and my ziploc luggage), I had blessed sleep in the midst of nights of torture at home.
