Hi everyone, thanks for starting this site. Though, it might be making me more crazy than I have already become with this.
Not really sure when it started. I do know about 2 weeks ago my legs looked awful, though not as bad as some pictures I have seen. There were tons of bites in clusters, mostly around my ankles and knees. At first I thought mosquitos (as many seem to) but then I started to research because they itched like crazy. I have had chiggers before (we live next to farm land and I got them while weeding my back yard). So, I knew it wasn't that. Well, what I found started to FREAK ME OUT!
We traveled so much this summer. Stayed in 6 different hotels, from NYC (YIKES), PA, & FL. I have looked for possible complaints on all of them, found none!
As many people have also said, out of 4 people in my house, I am the only one being bit.
So, now I have been examined by 2 PCOs. Neither found evidence. The first guy said out right no. While I want to believe him, I just can't. But, I have looked EVERY WHERE! I even pulled up my carpet around bedrooms this morning. Not the whole thing, just against baseboards. I crawl on my hands and knees daily looking for these things.
I have only had 2 "out breaks." And am not hoping, though I will not quit looking, that maybe they are bites I got while doing yard work from fleas! I have tried the dry ice home made trap for the past 2 nights (nothing). Though, I slept in the room. I did not get bit either though. I am going to try again tonight, and sleep in a different room, hoping I don't bring possible "friends" along with me.
I have put down DE around my base boards and covered my mattresses & box springs (thought I have to recover the box springs as I noticed rips in the covers AAHH!!! My husband thinks I am crazy. I am starting to believe him!
I see little brown things and automatically think BB. I see what I think is blood on my sheets, and think BB.
I will keep you all posted on my on going craziness!! Off to get more dry ice, I am sure the grocery store thinks I am hiding dead bodies, as well as my neighbors because I purged my house of all bedding and clothes I do not need!

so, in the post I said "I am not hoping," but I am hoping they are bug bite received from yard work!
