You now have three options you will see above next to "Subscribe to Topic," four lines down from the Title of the topic (thread) at the top:
Don't subscribe (default)
(or use the dropdown menu to see):
Subscribe to topic without emails
or
Instant email notification (when the topic -- thread -- is updated).The latter option may get you lots more emails than you want so PLEASE use sparingly. (I regularly get emails from irate people who forgot they subscribed to the blog feed and cannot figure out how to unsubscribe -- even though there's a link provided in every email.)
The former option will make a list of topics you've subscribed to. To see it, scroll down on the right sidebar to "Views" and click "Subscribed Topics."
You can unsubscribe from any Subscribed Topics by clicking the "x" next to them in this list.
