Get Firefox or some other browser than Microsoft. That is the issue.

Try looking under just NJ as well... (added that tag) I agree, it can be confusing.

Understand that I've been looking for recommendations myself, and am not a source of testimonials. That said...

Adele got a recommendation for Cooper, a year ago... I just queried to see if she had follow-up on how that went.
I believe that was for a conventional/integrated pest management method, (IPM)
The deal with IPM is, you expect several rounds of treatment until it works fully. One time will not do it. The problem is, the devil's in the details; two POCs with identical tools and comparable situations can have very different results, because it takes an eye for detail. Big firms send out different teams, so one crew may be excellent, and another, lackluster... plus, you need to do a lot of your own prep work for it to be really successful ('eye for detail' isn't just their job, it's yours, too...)

'Whole-room' or 'whole house' thermal treatment, and/or Vikane are both specialized processes, separate from what the 'normal' run of IPM people can do, and more expensive; again, click on the past posts to see more about the details

I gather we have maybe 3 heat-treating firms able to do NJ--
    AAA Superior
    Van-Helsing (?)
Cooper, too, I believe... (yes, the same Cooper as above)

for Vikane the specialist seems to be
    Bed Bugs and Beyond
(this is a tent-and-gas procedure, so it is not feasible for individual apartments or condos. It is strongly toxic, which is of course why it works, but it is supposed to be fully dispersed before reentry... if neighboring houses are separate but very close, however, the procedure may still not be safe. It also has greenhouse gas issues, but that's another thing... )

Good luck... we're going to need it, it seems.

Just to clarify-- Microsoft is not the problem; old Microsoft or AOL browsers are. Recent versions of Internet Explorer or AOL should be fine. Try to upgarde if you can. Older versions of Firefox should work for people with older hardware that can't handle the recent versions of IE or AOL.

aye, i've been looking at all nj/nyc posts here too..has anyone any experience with bellbedbugs.com?. their ads run regularly on the nj local cable [12] -they use 'dry ice' treatment & claim to be very effective but to me thermal or traditional chem treatment seems like a better logical choice. thanx.

disregard this one - i've double posted the same text..also i'm withdrawing my 'dry ice' inquiry since i don't think it's what would work for my and my family's places, please disregard it.

since it seems that quite a few folks have problems w/reading full posts [explorer 6 is still likely the most popular browser] has the webmaster/founder considered switching to a different more common forum format?

    Hi jerzy,

I am trying to fix the problem (it's the template, not the software that is the issue, BTW).

According to the site stats the majority of users are NOT using IE6. Most are on IE7, IE8, Firefox or Safari. However, I am still trying to fix it.

If you own your own computer, you should be able to run Firefox and it is free. I understand some people are at school or work where they cannot download new software.

The best TAG for searching for local services is NJ PCOs:

(Note: any city or state abbreviation with PCOs following is the preferred tag. I try to add them when I see the need.)

Before I switched to Firefox, I was reading the 'RSS feed', which mostly provided full text, though not in an easily read format.
