Hi there, and thank you so much for the existence of this site.

After a harrowing nyc apartment hunt that ended in couch surfing, I moved into literally the only one I could find, which seemed like a dump, but whatever, it's month to month and the roommate would finally be another woman in her 30's, so I could relax and clean and decorate blah blah blah. Long story short, I moved in Oct 16th and got what I thought was mosquito bites. On Oct 30 an almost adult bedbug walked on my leg. My brand new slumlord landlady knew about the problem. The rest is history. High five!

What is the likelihood of carrying eggs accidentally? Do the eggs behave like glitter--fall off and follow you everywhere? Could they be on my shoes? Or is it more difficult to contaminate? I've been reading that the eggs really adhere and can't be removed with tweezers.

I have since moved out and have barely anything and treated everything but my bra (just realized), but I'm worried because I walked over in the shoes I wore when I moved--I just keep thinking in relation to glitter. It's bringing me into a paranoia spiral.

I'm getting a packtite tmw. Any halp you guys can offer, i'd really appreciate!
