Need PCO recommendation in Nova
(4 posts)-
Hi everyone - hoping someone can recommend a good PCO in Northern Virginia. I've contacted a few and had some dogs sniff around - mixed results so far. One alert, then two negatives, but actually getting more bites now than before (like, 40 in one night versus 2 in a month). We're talking with American, Connor's, and maybe Healthy Home and GreenPest - any comments or other recommendations would be much appreciated. I have read the other posts from Nova on the forum, but can't find a recent recommendation.

Try the tag "Virginia PCOs".
And also the one for Connor's. Lots of people seem to have used them.

Hey, seca46, how is your BB treatment process going? Any luck?
I'm in northern Virginia, too. My fiance and I just moved to Alexandria a few weeks ago and were sadly greeted with BBs, which we think we contracted from the moving truck. Because we awoke to them July 4th, our PCO hunt began with lots of voice mails to companies who were off for the holiday. I think I talked to some of the same companies you have--definitely spoke to A Healthy Home, because the dude in charge answered his phone while at a Fourth of July barbecue, taking a slight pissy tone with me for it being a holiday (so why did you answer??). Then he talked my ear off about BBs, and he did mention using cedar spray. I didn't go with him. Ended up getting treated by Pestnow.com because my LL knows the guy in charge. When we asked how they would approach treatment, they said, "We hit 'em hard." They gave us a deal--$600 (apparently instead of $1000), which we're splitting with LL. We're having Treatment #2 in a few days. Pestnow.com uses Onslaught and Nyguard. We're supplementing with DE and cedar spray.
I hope your battle is going well and that you found a good PCO in this area.

There are some excellent bed bug professionals in your area however, I am reluctant to post referrals on the open fourm.
Please review the product efficacy threads so yiu can save your money on products that don't work well.
Hope this helps ! paul b.
