Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Detection / Identification of bed bugs
Need ID - please tell me these things don't bite, whatever they are!

It it with a heavy heart that I visit these forums again. We had bed bugs for a year, and after 5 chemical treatments and 2 heat treatments, we were finally clean. It's been 8 months now since we've had any problems, but there have been mysterious bites a few times during that time, which I've chalked up to mosquitos since we haven't seen any bugs or signs of them. But in the last couple of weeks I've started getting bitten more and now I have several bites on me, some in the classic breakfast-lunch-dinner set of three.
But, in searching our home we haven't been able to find anything, except these two things. This first picture is a little bug I see constantly in our house, and just now found one crawling on the inside of my shirt. Anyone know what they are, and if they bite (please say yes!)?

This next picture is of something I found on the window shades by my bed. I think it was dead when I collected it. Does this look like a bed bug? I kind of think so.

Thanks, everyone.

Globular one is the commonly encountered spider beetle, Gibbium aequinoctiale; the other looks like a small dermestid carpet beetle, but not sure of species. Neither are blood feeders like bed bugs, but are more scavenger types and have chewing mouthparts to feed on dried animal and plant materials, grains, dead insects and other animals.

Hi,
Its 100% not bedbugs.
I think the first is a spider beetle and the second image some kind of shed skin.

Great. So something else is biting me. It's bed bugs, I know it is. It's just all too familiar.
Thanks.
