Need help with bed bugs

   Where to start? I do have a pest control service, Terminix coming this Wednesday...

   I think I have had bed bugs in a guest room since March. I live alone in a 4 bedroom house & let a friend stay with me in a guest room from March thru May - he must have brought the bed bugs.

   My mother came to visit me this week & stayed in that same room & was bitten all over that first night. I called a friend who had recently stayed in that room recently & she told me she did in fact have bites - but she didn't realize that it was bed bugs from my house.

   I think they may be in my bedroom as well. Two weeks ago I had severe bites & swelling on the back of my leg. I had been on the beach a few days before & thought it was from the green flies biting. And then this past week, I had three bites in a row on my elbow.

   So far, I have thrown out everything in the guestroom except for the mattress & box spring, dresser, tv, a wicker chest & 2 lamps. All bedding, curtains, rug, pillows, etc... have been pitched. I put everything in plastic bags & ran everything right outside. In my room, I threw out the rug, the pillows, my comforter, books, etc... I have cleaned both rooms and both mattresses and box springs now have bed bug mattress protectors. BTW - the rug was too large in my room to put in a garbage bag. Didn't think to cover it.

   I saw two (I think) adult bed bugs in the guest room. One was on the first day I cleaned the room - it was under the box spring. I used Hot Shot Bedbug & Flea fogger in both rooms. I saw another adult bug on the mattress in the guest room the day after I used the fogger (before the mattress had covers on it). Last night I put a white towel on the floor in my bedroom & sat on it. Little black dots appeared on the towel. I'm guessing those are baby bed bugs?

   I also didn't realize that I shouldn't sleep in other rooms. Friday & Saturday night I slept downstairs on the couch. Last night I slept in another bedroom. I will sleep back in my room tonight now that I know. I hope I didn't infect the couch - I just had it custom made.

   Also - as I am washing everything, clothes, linens, etc... I am folding the laundry & leaving it on the kitchen & dining room tables instead of bringing back upstairs. Is that okay? I am washing in hot water with bleach & drying on high heat.

   As soon as I finish cleaning everyday - I throw my clothes right into the wash & shower & then wash my towel.

   Is it bad that I used the fogger?Have I made things worse?

   I also spend alot of time at my computer which is downstairs. Ugh! I have an old house with wood floors everywhere...

   Again - pest control guy coming on Wednesday.

   I also just ordered cy-kick & pronto to use in addition to the pest control guy. Thoughts?
