    I'm seeing these all over my apartment (I live in an old brownstone -- we've already had an indian meal moth problem this year). Got any idea what this is? The stripes are pronounced so I'm crossing my fingers that it isn't a BB... but I've dealt with this once before 6 years ago in a previous apartment and I'm dreading what it could be.

    Can't say exactly what it is (maybe a beetle of family Chrysomelidae) , but surely isn't a BB...

    Maybe a varied carpet or furniture beetle ? Definitely NOT a bed bug !

    (Sorry that's a bit off-topic, but it's hard to be original on a website about bed bugs with 14.5K registered users. So I am always impressed. Of course, users outside of NYC may want to know there's a thing called Brooklyn Flea...)
