    What is this bug? I found him alive by the window/ ac unit... Sorry it's so small but if you magnify you might be able to identify. Thanks!

    NOT a bed bug !

    Looks to be a grain beetle, possibly a merchant grain beetle???

    Are you finding these critters in your food or pantry ?

    If so, inspect & check your food stuffs that are made of grain products (wheat, flour, corn, rice, nuts, dried fruits, etc) for signs of infestation. If you find pantry pest infestation or activity; simply throw out the infested food products, clean out your pantry, check the cracks & crevices for additional critters, treat the cracks & crevices with low/no odor residual insecticides, allow the treated areas to dry and put your stuff back.

    I haven't seen them anywhere else.
    I was wondering if it could be a bird mite, as I had a minor infestation recently.

    No its a beetle and not a mite, cant clearly make out what type of beetle though.

    A beetle of family Sylvanidae or Anthribiidae...
