I just pm'ed you but thought it might be useful info for the other members. We are using Metro Pest 718-803-0000. They're our co-op's contracted exterminator. I dealt with Dalia in their office -- very pleasant and professional.

We had our first treatment on 10/12 and they're coming back in 3 weeks for the second treatment. They gave us a lengthy worksheet with steps to prepare the apt for treatment. They sent 2 guys, who were in the apt for about 45 mins. They said they were using Tempo and Drione.

The only downside I saw was that they drilled a hole in one of our walls to blow in chemicals, but it was solid concrete (something I could have told them). They also failed to drill holes in our closet walls which are hollow. I will address this with them on their return visit.

jenny - 3 weeks is too long between treatments. is must be 10-14 days or 15 days. 21 is too long. 45 minutes - hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. i dont know. my guy spent at least 2 hours if i remember correctly. i hope they are planning on a third and 4th treatment if necessary. i still stand by my person.

I thought that the three weeks was in case new eggs hatched, that's what they told me.

Two - three weeks is still within acceptable range.
