mysterious itching plus bites

I started getting bitten about 2 1/ 2 weeks ago . Im getting bitten a lot. A dog determined they were in my living room and bedroom, but I have not seen one or the normal debris, but found a cluster of eggs on my wall board next to my bed sure it was bed bugs. So I have determine that i have them, even though I have not seen them. The bites are typical, in small groupings..i.e. when the body moves the bedbug will jump off and then on again near the same place.... this I found in my research.
My bites, what ever they are, itchy welts appear throughout the day, even for days during a weekend out of town. I've heard this is typical...they can continue to well up for 9 days after getting bite. HOWEVER, when I come home, after being out for the day, I start to itch. The lights are on, I can see, but I dont see whats just making me itch. I got in bed the other night and I felt like I had a swarm of something around my lets. I did nt see anything. I keep a spray bottle of rubbing alcohol mixed with 2 parts water near my bed ( this mixture kills bed bugs on contact, I have heard).... I sprayed my legs and that swarm of what ever went away. are these the baby bed bugs, just not decernable to the naked eye, the nebs? Do I also have mites? Im baffled. I have researched mites and this does not fit any profile. I have heard that if you have bed bugs ,as a result you might also developed more allergies, or other reactions to bugs. Can anyone shed any light on these mysterious itchings. Thanks
