Got Bed Bugs? Bedbugger Forums » Uncategorized
my PCO was going to put DE on my couch!
(3 posts)-
i came in briefly from outside (i knew he wasn't spraying yet) and he was about to "dust" my couch! that's not good, is it?
also, is it normal/good to see little piles of the DE in certain places? my understanding was that it should be too thin to see. it also has permethrin in it (the dust he was using) and he said it wasn't toxic to cats! BS!
i've already paid him up front for two treatments- what should i do?
he was a really nice guy, but i got the feeling he and i had different concepts of safety- especially where kitties are concerned.
thoughts?

On exposed surfaces or in the nooks and crannies?

he had the back pillow up, so i suppose that would count as a cranny, but it's also a pull-out bed, so it would depend on its use.
i suppose it's not terrible, but i could just imagine sitting down suddenly/heavily on the couch, or the cat thudding onto it in a plume of DE.
dessicated lungs all around!
