My PCO should have been licensed by bedbugger.com(5 posts)
OK. Someone tell me why my PCO came to my apartment today and looked around and said "well, I don't see any signs of them. Usually I'll see blood stains or at least one adult crawling around the mattress. Its been 2 weeks since I was last here and heard you're story, I would've seen signs by now." Yeah, would you believe it. I tried to be nice and say, "well dont a lot of people never notice any signs or see any bugs, but still have bed bugs?" He kept insisting that there were no signs. Then, he said to buy a mattress cover (which I will do anyways) and that should take care of them, if there are any. "Really, that will take care of them, huh?"(sarcastic voice) He said if I wanted he could spray around the carpet for now. I asked him if that would disperse them or push them away and he said well they could go into your roomates room etc. etc. My roomate, miss logical, thinks I'm being a bit overboard and that whenever I get a bite, i'll think its bedbugs. She doesn't want to treat if we are not told for sure whether it's bed bugs or not. I keep trying to tell her that if you cant see them, and there are not signs, then you may not KNOW for sure, and it'll just get worse. Talk about stressful. Its hard to think that anyone who could hear my story and think that it it could be anything else BUT bed bugs.
I feel like a broken record that no body wants to play. My boyfriend was treated for fleas (that we know he had). He's not getting bitten by fleas anymore. I saw a bug in his mattress AFTER they sprayed for fleas (but like a dummy was too scared to catch it, then it was gone) A few days later, upon sleeping on his mattress, I was bitten like crazy on my waist. He wasn't. Last night, he slept on his bed (he usually sleeps on the couch) and got 2 bites. I slept over last night for the first time in a couple weeks on the couch(he snores, cant sleep w/him), and didnt get bit. And, during those two weeks I've been getting bitten at night. HELLO???
So, me and my defeated self will buy the mattress covers, seal up my keepsakes, and live with whatever the hell (sorry if offensive) is biting me. And in the meantime I will hope and pray earnestly that it isn't bed bugs, but If it is, I can't wait for the day when I see one of them so I can shove it in each and every ONE of their faces. I'm SO UPSET RIGHT NOW!
*** And, during those two weeks I've been getting bitten at night at my place....
I did not see this post originally.
How are you getting on?
I too was in the same boat. I found the infestation, freaked out, and threw it away (in a safe manner). Then I called the PCO, he wanted to see a bug. It was a week later, I found one blood stain on my sheet.
