If these dont do it I just killed one with alcohol and I can photo it tomorrow. The last two photos I took at my mobile home. The bed bugs (if thats what they are ) are much bigger their.
I kept all that I collected so if you need other shots just let me know.

[Admin note: added spaces between each photo. I reconstructed a few which were mangled. They all seem to work now.]

So, why am I getting bit like they are bed bugs, and why have I seen eggs sacks that look like bed bug sacks. White grains of uncooked rice, and kind of a grey looking sack, I found in my hair the other day.

I took a picture of a bug brown in color, it was still alive in the bag.

Guess I am asking what bites, and acts like a bed bug and isn't?

    Katherine,

There can be skin problems that seem like insect bites but aren't. Some possibilities are listed in this FAQ and this forum post.

You said you see bugs on your body. There are some parasites which live on humans. Samples could be caught on clear packing tape.

Have you been to a doctor to rule out other parasites and skin problems?

Finally, if you do have bed bugs, you should be able to catch samples in monitors. Some are described in various FAQs linked from the Useful Stuff page.

Yep no bed bug in there just the usual fluff and crumbs. I did spy a couple of dermestid beetles nothing a good clean up won't solve.

Thank you all. I have new photos of a different bug so maybe that is a bed bug.

No skin problems other than what you get with old age. No to the Doctor, can't afford him or her either and in my neck of the woods, lets just say the Docs are not the brightest in the world. Well most aren't anyway. I do have a great female doc which wouldn't help much with bugs.

I thank you all for your help and I am about to upload new photos of a bug I just found today or should say what is left of it.

As for the bugs on my body, what happens is I feel something, either a pain when they insert their sucker or I feel something light that happens mostly on my upper shoulders on my back. If I have parasites on me it's not them.

The older ones that I pick up are a grey color on their way to being black like the bugs you saw in the photos. If the new photo turns out not to be bed bugs I am going to go to our local insect people. see what they have to say.

I do know my town has Kissing bugs, but all that I had during the bug problem are dead now. They take more blood from you than bed bugs but are killable.

    On to another thought.

I was wondering if anyone has done a test using Cayenne pepper, ground cloves, cinnamon or peppermint extract?

Can you tell if the two little things sticking out at the back are legs folded under or are they cerci like a roach has? In my non expert opinion this one does generally look like a bed bug but if those are cerci rather than legs, then it's obviously not. Hopefully the experts will weigh in soon.

That can't hurt. Hopefully one of the pros will stumble on this thread eventually. I have a feeling that they will know immediately one way or the other.

I would second rs1971 on getting another photo. I also edited the title to attract additional IDs.

    Hi,

I would say most likley to be roach related.

The shape and colour are wrong for a bedbug of that size.
