moving/ziplocs

I'm going to be moving to a new apartment very soon. All my clothes and linens have been kept in ziplocs for a while now. Is it safe to simply move the bags as is, or should I be worried about the possibility of any bugs or eggs on the outside of them? And aside from a visual inspection, is there anything else I should be doing to be sure the bags are clean? Thanks.

you should be okay with careful visual inspection. even the eggs are not that small that you wouldn't see them if you look carefully.
