I just found that I have bed bugs but they seem to be contained to my mattress. They got through holes in my mattress cover. I've put climb ups on the bed. I will however be moving because my landlord refuses to treat other units. I plan on throwing out my mattress and box spring, couch, dresser and chair. All my clothes will be placed directly in a dryer. Is there anything else I should be doing before moving?

You need to do something to treat any other items you're taking. Depending what they are, this may be using a device like a Packtite to heat them, or using Nuvan Prostrips/DDVP or Cirkil/Proof to treat items in a sealed bag. A hot dryer is good.

See the Useful Tools page for more on those methods and the FAQs on getting bed bugs out of your belongings here.

I started and run the site but am "not an expert."
