Moving out bed: I am not optimistic re Porters

Monday is the Big Day when the bed, headboard, night table, and a drafting table are removed from my apartment. I will be staying with dad for the next 6-8 weeks following the treatments and eventually buying a new mattress and box spring (frames come free with them usually).
After speaking with a porter and the super, I am extremely dubious as to whether they know what to do.
I've gone through great pains to keep those little things contained to my bedroom and the bed area. Even now my dresser, the closet outside my bedroom, and other clothing sources have remain unaffected after all this time. Likewise a file cabinet right next to the bed, where sketchbooks inspected looked absolutely pristine. I get dressed outside the room.
Now it looks like they'll be taking the captain's bed out whole. Do they even have a bag that big? I dont think so! You mean after all this grief they're going to drop crap all over the rest of the apartment and the hallway and elevator? That cannot happen. It MUST not.
If anyone has any enlightening input, I would be grateful.
